CAN I AQUASEAL THE SHEETS?
Ideally no, adhesive coatings should be applied to virgin paper. However sometimes a job has to be sealed, in these circumstances a test run is a good idea.

CAN I COAT OR SPIRIT BASE VARNISH THE SHEETS?
No, not without testing first, the spirit vapours trapped within the sheets can set off the remoist or latex and cause pallet blocking.
If in doubt test run first.

WHATS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM GRAMMAGE FOR REMOIST GUM?
For remoist we recommend 80gsm as a minimum weight, much lighter and the sheets will curl. There is no maximum but in extreme situations please contact us to check.

CAN I DIE-CUT LATEXED SHEETS?
Yes, however it can be tricky, always plan to run the job Sheetwork (not work & turn) and run on a flat bed machine not a cylinder, the sheets will also need airing up in small quantities.
We have had many years of experience with cutting latex and are well equipped to handle this as part of our service, or will offer free advice and guidance if you wish to attempt cutting yourself.

WHY DON'T THE SHEETS ALL STICK TOGETHER?
Latex is a self-seal material that will only stick to itself, therefore it doe's not adhere to the sheet above (Although additional airing up is required).

CAN YOU GUM WORK & TURN OR WORK & TUMBLED SHEETS?
Yes, for remoist we can, although longer runs are best printed sheetwork so as to halve the number of passes.

CAN YOU LATEX WORK & TURN OR WORK & TUMBLED SHEETS?
Latex is best always run sheetwork.

CAN YOU PERFORATE INLINE?
Yes, we can perforate a maximum of two lines running grip to back edge on the sheet. This is a coarse perforation and is not suitable for lasering.

CAN PACKAIDS APPLY SCRATCH OFF SILVER LATEX OR SCRATCH AND SNIFF INKS?
